He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Jodie; his great grandchild Donavin; his sister Gloria (Cleo Teschendorf); his nephew Dean Teschendorf; and the mother of his children Pauline Ginther.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline (Pionk); his close friend Michelle Shivley of St. Helen; his pet Griffin of St. Helen; his children, Matthew Emerick of West Branch, Neal Emerick (Colleen) of Apache Junction, AZ, Holly Emerick of Bad Axe and Paula Emerick of Portland; his children-in-law, Brenda Emerick of Bad Axe and William Bailey III of Port Hope; and his brother Terry Emerick (Peggy) of Port Hope.
