He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Albert and Mildred Violet Hammar; his wife Mary Louise Hammer; and his son Myrle Hammer, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Rodney of Saint Helen, Michigan, Leo Hammer of Saint Helen, Michigan, Charlene Bergdoll of Garrett and Kimberly Ward of Sulphur, Oklahoma; his sister Leona Stein of Bear Lake, Michigan; and his sister-in-law Joann Hammar of Mesa. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
