It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce A. Marquardt (Saint Helen, Michigan), who passed away on April 20, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Schwalm and Violet Schwalm (Terhune); her husband Ben Marquardt; and her siblings, Harold, Vera, Maurice, Francis and Lloyd.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, JoAnn Zeller, Richard Schwalm, James "Vigil" Yantz, Dale Schwalm, Linda Underhill, Judy Jurn, Robin Brief, Terri Jurn, Kathi Wagner, Clinton Schwalm, Barbara Regan and Sande Grebe.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar St. Helen Community Baptist Church (1494 N St Helen Rd, St Helen, MI 48656). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Brookside Cemetery.
