He was predeceased by: his parents, John Okarski and Hattie Okarski (Piotrowski); and his daughter Anne Dhoest. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Sarah McArthur of Mt. Pleasant, MI and Jayson Dhoest of Detroit, MI; his great grandchildren, Jayson, Leah, Saylor and Colton; his sister Joan Julien (Tom); and his nephews, Tom, Mark and Dave.
