She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Barton and Elsie Barton (Ringler); her husband Bill B. Steckling; her grandson Anthony; her sons-in-law, Barry and Jimmy; and her siblings, Mary Alice, Dick, Fred, Bob, Albert, Judy and Harry.

She is survived by: her children, Sally Allen (Art) of St. Helen, Cindy Mikolaizik (Tom) of St. Helen, Debbie Bireley (Dan Long) of St. Helen, Bill A. Steckling (Jeri) of St. Helen and Margaret Smyk of Pontiac; and her close friend Bob Fahndrich of St. Helen. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
