He was predeceased by: his parents, Mariano Hernandez and Lola Hernandez; and his siblings, Mary Lou Prather, Jesse Hernandez, Josie Gawthrop, Alberto Hernandez, Daniel Hernandez, David Hernandez and Mario Hernandez.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Hernandez of St. Helen; his sons, Henry Hernandez (Joanie Holman) of Defiance and Edward Hernandez of Defiance; his stepchildren, Andrew Hardyk (Angie) of State College, PA, Benjamin Hardyk of Oakley, CA and Salena Norris of Mount Airy, NC; and his siblings, Gloria Martinez of St. Helen, Lucy (Larry) of Bay City, James Hernandez of Saginaw, Ricky Hernandez of Saginaw and William Hernandez of Saginaw. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
