He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Hayward and Walter Waltz; his sister Patricia Crabtree; his parents-in-law, Eileen Buysse (Haslock) and James Haslock; his stepfather James Algoe; his nieces, LeAnn Alvord and Julianne Shaw; and his brothers-in-law, Sonee Johnson and Elmer Crabtree.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Waltz; his sons, Jeffrey Waltz (Kim) and Daniel Waltz (Candis); his brother Gordon "Butch" Alvord; his grandchildren, Andrew, Timothy, David, Angela (Scott) and Eric; and his great grandchildren, Hailey and Ashley. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
