It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Allen Zimmerman of Saint Helen, Michigan, born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Roger Zimmerman; and his brother Brian Zimmerman. He is survived by: his mother Patti Hicks (Marlon) of St. Helen, MI; his sister Kelly Meyer (Shelby) of Kiawah Island, SC; and his nieces and nephews, SydneyMegan Kovach, Cole, Chase and Lana Zimmerman. He is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Over the years, he made significant contributions to every workplace he was a part of, including Wayne Dalton garage door systems and Home Depot in Gaylord.
