She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McDermand and Emma McDermand (McAllister); her husband Lewis Cox; her children, Steven McDermand and Elizabeth Mead; her grandson Robert Bartz; and her siblings, Frank McDermand, Florence Owczarzak and Virginia McDermand.
She is survived by: her children, Victoria Schroeder of Twining, Virginia Molands of Troy, Teresa Parker of Russellville, AL, Roberta Cox of St. Helen, Robert Mead Jr. of St. Helen, Cathy Mead of Russellville, AL and Sheila Englehardt (Rob) of St. Helen; her sister Jessie Bumgarner of Niles; and her sister-in-law Flo McDermand. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren.
