It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alexander Galant of Saint Helen, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 3, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Galant and Mary Galant (Morris); his wife Marlene; and his siblings, Ralph, Fred, Wilfred, Mary and Richard.
He is survived by: his daughter MaryAnne Carroll (Frank) of Oxford; his grandchildren, Melissa Carroll (Louie Sosa) of Grand Blanc, Lisa Carroll (Matthew) of Lake Orion, Michael Carroll (Melissa) of Rochester Hills, Nicole Rustkowych (Michael) of Oxford and Mary Carroll (Eddie Smolak) of Clarkston; his great grandchildren, Alexa, Lucia, Louie, Renee, Jeremay, Aubrey, Ella and Roman Alexander; and his brother Joseph Galant of Lakeland, FL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held with precautions, due to the current pandemic, limiting the number of attendees at a given time.
