He is survived by: his wife Karen Salter; his children, Victoria Lee and Greg Stark; his grandchildren, Ashley, Jacob, Matt and Elzabeth; and his sisters, Joyce Nichols and Sondra Paquette. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, several niece and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the L. C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home (214 Trumbull St, St Clair, MI 48079). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
