She was predeceased by: her parents, Art Brabender and Lillian Brabender; her siblings, Donna Mau, Joan Ladiski, Betty Woolman, Dick Brabender and Kenneth Brabender; and her great grandchild Jillian Clare Barden.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Welser (Kathy), Jim Welser (Laura), Jane Barden (Bill) and Susie Gordon (Lou); her grandchildren, Jon (Brittany), Jamie Welser, Jason (Elyse), Justin Welser (Beth), Luke, Caleb Gordon, Erik (Beth) and Ethan Barden (Nancy); her great grandchildren, Ben Welser, Ava, Brayden Welser, Parker Welser, William, Diane Barden, Nate, Jack and Nick Barden; and her close friend Fran Reno. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen Catholic Church (325 32nd St, Port Huron, MI 48060). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Water Hospice or the Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation.
