He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Wayt and Helen Wayt. He is survived by: his wife Twila DeVore; his daughter Twila Wayt; his grandchildren, Monica, Madeline, Mason and Morgan Geftos; his brothers, Charles Wayt (Wendy) and Doug Wayt (Tina); and his father-in-law Max DeVore. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Red Cross.
