She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Price Chandler and Mary Chandler; her former husband Dr. Harry Granger Ewart; her children, Barbara Brenner, Laurel Lydy (Paul) and Robert Ewart; her grandchildren, Scott Brenner (Heidi), Dana Roehring (Gerred) and Jeffrey Brenner (Christina); her great grandchildren, Jacob, Luke, James, Joshua, Michael Brenner, Isabelle and Adam Roehring; her husband Rear Admiral; her son William Barron Ewart; and her brother Dr. Charles Chandler. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to First Congregational Church, U.C.C. of St. Clair or Blue Water Humane Society.
