He was predeceased by: his parents, Gennaro Acciavatti and Giovannina Acciavatti; his wife Mary Ann; and his son Dino P. Acciavatti. He is survived by: his children, Robert VanDenBrook (Lisa), Rinaldo G. Acciavatti (Sheron), Paul C. Acciavatti (Lori), Danny Acciavatti (Michelle), Liyana Acciavatti and Jack Acciavatti; his grandchildren, Brandy, Rachel, Raquel, Serena, Dominic, Vincent, Nathaniel, Mary Ann, Dino and Katelyn; and his sister Loretta McFarland.
