He was predeceased by: his parents, John Slamka and Frances Slamka (Krasnicki); his brother Ron; and his brother-in-law Arnie. He is survived by: his wife Sueanne Currier; his children, Donald Slamka (Staci) of Hillsdale, MI, Darlynn Carver (Brian) of Swartz Creek, Daniel Slamka of Muncy, PA and Dannett Rice (Jerry) of Flushing; his grandchildren, Holli Houtz (Jonah), Katie, Elizabeth, Charlotte Carver, Elijah, Zachariah, Samuel Slamka, Ethan, Noah, Naomi, Joshua and Faith Rice; and his siblings, Ken Slamka (Carol), Jack Slamka (Kitty) and Susie Ferguson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
