He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Northrop and Rose Northrop (Elwart); his wife Barbara Northrop (Zaremba); his brother Patrick Northrop; his brother-in-law Kenneth Hinman; his nephew Brockton Northrop; and his niece Stephanie Northrop.
He is survived by: his children, Sarah Ayers (Jayson) of Arizona, Alex Northrop of Oklahoma and Andrew Gardner-Northrop (Adam) of Midland, MI.; his grandchildren, Dylan, Addyson, Henry, Alyssa, Skylar Ayers of Arizona and Zachary Gardner-Northrop of Midland, MI.; his siblings, Rosalie Hinman of Imlay City, Mary Lou Northrop of Grand Rapids, Wally Northrop (Karen) of Attica and Stanley Northrop (Diana) of Wisconsin; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Barlaan Northrop of Imlay City.
