She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Cataldo (Napolitan) and Charles Rocco Cataldo; her husbands, Daniel Edward Kuhnlein and Henry "Harry" R. Gilbert; her sisters, Laura Cataldo and Helen Ruda; her siblings-in-law, Dennis Downey, Donald Gilbert, Bob Henze, Pete Kilcline, Frank Kuhnlein, Jerome Kuhnlein, Red Lee, Rudy Pale, Anthony Ruda, Gene Rutt, Ed Schmidt, Marie Gilbert, Mary Lou Henze, Mary Sue Kuhnlein, Marilyn Lee, Margaret Pale and Mary Rutt; and her grandson Mark DeFour.
She is survived by: her sister Eleanore Downey; her children, Joellyn Gray (Kevin), Beth, Claudia Eaton (Bob), Dan, Allison (Ron Lang), David, Letty Helgans (David), Karen Jones (Jim), Donald (Lauri Read) and Dean (Nicole); her children-in-law, Francesc Parcerisas and Susan Kuhnlein; her stepchildren, James (Dick Wagner), Jan DeFour (Ralph) and John (Charlotte Pauls); and her sisters-in-law, Jackie Kilcline and Mary Schmidt. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, numerous godchildren, and many extended relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Church (15020 Hampton St, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church (15020 Hampton St, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230).
