He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Neitzke and Ida Neitzke; his wife Barbara Simonson; his brother Randy Gene Neitzke; and his grandson Joshua Parker.
He is survived by: his children, Randal Neitzke (Mary), Darrin Neitzke (Diana) and Michelle Neitzke; his grandchildren, Michael (Jessica), Ashley, Orrin (Kristin), Katie (Chris), Kyle, Rachel, Ethan Neitzke and Anna Haynes (Benjamin); his great grandchildren, Jillian Parker, Kenadi, Keegan, Kameron, Kyrie Quinn, Bradley, Bayleigh, Adelaide, Emerson, Moxie Neitzke and Bennett Haynes; his siblings, Shirley Severson, Donna Linberg, Nancy Lyngen (Dennis), John Neitzke (Connie), Dorothy Leque, Betty Neitzke, Jeff Neitzke (Pam), Jackie Ball (Larry) and Diane Herried (Mark); and his siblings-in-law, Arnold Simonson (Ruthie), Phyllis Linnell, Sonja Lyngen (Dale) and Annabel Stenberg. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
