She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Shurtleff and Margaret Shurtleff; her husband Mike Pastiva (Flint); and her brother Robert Shurtleff. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Mogan (David), Joyce Pastiva and Gary Pastiva (Pamela); her grandchildren, Kristen Schopieray (Brad), Eric Mogan, Jennifer Hall, David Hall (Julissa) and Jack Pastiva; and her great grandchildren, Jake Schopieray and Evan Schopieray. She is also survived by her sister-in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews as well as those cherished friends.
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Bluewater Hospice House for their loving care and kindness of Janet in her final months with ALS.
