Janet D. Socia Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet D. Socia of Saint Clair, Michigan, who passed away on January 28, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janet D. Socia to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Adamske and Mabel Adamske; her brother Darryl (Laura); and her husband Donald Socia. She is survived by: her children, Donald Socia (Judy) and Julie Cahill (Steve); her grandchildren, Brent Cahill (Lisa), Kelli Gauronskas (Chris), DJ Socia, Blake Cahill (Lauren), Janell Socia and Jaime Socia; and her great grandchildren, Easton, Ari Gauronskas and Finn Cahill.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, Inc. (4061 St Clair Hwy, East China, MI 48054). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to either Kids in Distress or Heart to Heart Hospice.
