He was predeceased by: his father George Bennett; and his siblings, Bud, Connie and Carol. He is survived by: his wife Ann Bennett; his children, James Jr. Bennett (Sandy), Jody Britz (Scot), Jay Bennett (Carrie) and Jill Marie Tobey (Jon); his grandchildren, Bennett Britz (Chethana), Brianna Swantek (Brett), Jay Jr. Bennett (Katie), Brooke Israel (Mitch), Jared Tobey (Allison) and Adam Tobey (Claire); his great grandchildren, Luke David Swantek and Blaire Marie Tobey; his sisters, Donna Johnson (late Jake Johnson) and Toni Miller (Pete); and his sister-in-law Carol Fletcher. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
