He is survived by: his wife Gail Orris; his daughter Kellie Peterson (John) of Diamondale, MI; his former wife Roberta Orris Banse (Bobbi) of Americus, GA; his grandchildren, Kenai and Denali Peterson; his stepchild Shawn Erickson (Matt); his stepgrandchildren, Miriam and Owen; his stepson Brad McKenna (Stephanie); his stepgrandsons, Bennett, Levi and Joel; his stepdaughter Nicole Pintrick; his stepgrandchildren, Ariana and Nico; his brothers, David (Lynda), Gilbert (Sharon), Alec (Geri) and Neil; his nieces and nephews, Duane Orris, David Orris Jr., Shelly Blakely and Karissa Roskind (Seth); and his friend Cliff Aldrich of Midland.
He dedicated many years of service to the St. Clair County Road Commission, where he worked as the foreman of the Avoca Warehouse, and took great pride in his contributions to the road systems.
