He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence Barto and Katherine Barto. He is survived by: his wife Joan "Cookie"; and his children, Bradley Barto (Denise) of Coral Springs, Christine Barto and Jill Barto of Burtchville, Michigan. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The American Legion Post 382 and St. Mary's Catholic Church.
