It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verne C. Garascia (Saint Clair Shores, Michigan), who passed away on January 8, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Doris Violet; his child Nance Aitchison; his grandchildren, Marica Ostrowski (Jon), Alexander Aitchison, Luis Garascia, Katyn Oakley (Adam), Trevor Szymanski (Katie Reagan), Raechel Walker (John), Emily Berlin (Michael) and Zachary Fink (Lanie); his great grandchildren, Miranda, Alexandra, Viviana Ostrowski, Parker, Mick Patalin, Winston, Tucker Oakley, Mary, Carys Szymanski, Jack, Oakley Walker and Brooks Fink; his sibling-in-law Jean Garascia; and his caregiver Virginia McGinnis. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
