He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Elroy Bickel and Bebe Bickel. He is survived by: his wife Bebe Matilda Cady; and his siblings, Patricia Suttle (Terry), Colleen Kida, Robert Bickel (Valerie), Charles Mark Bickel (Ellen), Scott Bickel (Tammy) and Donald Bickel (Pauline Risteau). He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
