He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Genevieve (Klosowski); his former wives, Sharon Makowski and Patsy Makowski; his sister JoAnn Pachota; and his grandson Daniel Makowski.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Makowski (Karen) of Ray Township, Terry Makowski of Macomb and Debra Dietrich (Scott) of Holly; and his siblings, Joseph Makowski, Theresa Lewanski, Jerry Makowski, William Makowski (Rose), Michael Makowski (Mary), Paul Makowski (Patty) and Margaret Makowski. He is also survived by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous relatives and friends.
