She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Vanderbeck and Anna Vanderbeck; her husband John Wood; her siblings, Ellen, Leonard, Mary, Cecil, Dennis, Doris, Thomas and Robert; and her friend George Helwig.
She is survived by: her children, Beverley Spindler (Michael), Kenneth Wood (Pamela) and Laurie Wood; her grandchildren, Mathew Spindler (Joanne), Amy Saunders (Chris), Jason Spindler, Kristin Schulte (Tim), Kelly Ondrajka (Adam) and Todd Wood; her great grandchildren, Caroline, Jonathan, Nicholas, Alyxzandrya, Angelina, Simon, Henry, Trinity and Verity; her sister Marjorie Miller; and her sisters-in-law, Grace Vanderbeck and Dorothy Vanderbeck.
