He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Castronova; his daughter Joanne Zerilli; his great grandchild Grace Ziemba; and his siblings, Tony Palazzola, Josephine Palazzola, Frances Tocco, Catherine Doyle, Phyllis Mooradian and Joe Zerilli.
He is survived by: his daughters, Blanche Micallef (Carmen) and Stella Ackerman (Tom); his grandchildren, Angela Micallef, Andrew Micallef (Shannon) and Christina DiGiovanni (Jack); and his great grandchildren, Anna Ziemba, Dylan Doan, Vincent Micallef and Jack Giovanni. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
