She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Andrew Burnette and Hattie Othella Burnette; her siblings, Lorenzo Burnette, Helen Juanita Lynch, Charles Burnette, Sarah Irene Perkins, Garland Burnette Jr. and Wallace Burnette; and her grandson Michael Davis, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Debora Hamilton Palmer (late Shelton), Jill Bridgette Hamilton, George Hamilton Sr. (Jill M.), Gordon Logan (Julie) and Gregory Logan (Karen); her stepdaughter Barbara Logan; her grandchildren, Crystal Logan, George Hamilton Jr., Cory Hamilton, Edward Hamilton Spruill and Jax Logan; and her stepgranddaughter Yolanda Bellion. She is also survived by great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Verheyden, Inc. (16300 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230).
