He is survived by: his spouse Jean; his children, Mary Elizabeth Strain (Berry), Patrick (Sheri) and Jeff Simonis (Lindsey); his grandchildren, Joshua Simonis, Nathan Downey, Nick Strain, Nigel Strain, Natalie Strain, Kayla Downey, Colin Simonis and Emersyn Simonis; his siblings, Patricia Avery (late Dale), Dennis (Sylvia), Rose Bandlow (Peter), James (Carmela), Jerome, Catherine Shubertowski (Bernard) and Michael; and his sister-in-law Shirley Downey.
