It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Locricchio of Saint Clair Shores, Michigan, who passed away on September 20, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Shelly; her former husband James T. Ison; and her parents, Lacy Burnette and Kathleen Burnette (Roberts). She is survived by: her husband Anthony Locricchio; her children, Tammy Ruth Ison, Sherry Denchfield (Jeff), Leona Ison and Gordon Ison; and her grandchildren, Juliana Berger, Leila Berger and Cole Denchfield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Margaret worked diligently at many jobs to provide for her family, serving longest as a civilian crossing guard for the Detroit Police Department from 1977 to 2020, when she was laid off due to the pandemic—at age 84!
