He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Merlin; his son Joe L. (Marie); his grandchildren, Sheri Wunderlich (Lonnie), Sean Patton, Joe II Patton (Karen) and Michael Patton (Debbie); his great grandchildren, Amber (John), Brandon, Stephanie, Kaitlyn, Marissa, Sarah, Joe III and Sean; and his great great grandchildren, Jordan, Gavin and Colton.
