She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph DeSandre Jr.; and her brother James Stanley Ferguson. She is survived by: her son Joseph Mark DeSandre; her grandchildren, Joseph Donald DeSandre and Ashley Diane DeSandre; and her sister-in-law Nancy Ferguson. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
