In loving memory of James Allen Barber of Saint Clair Shores, Michigan, who departed this world on December 10, 2024 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Audrey and James Robert Barber; and the mother of his children Norma Mae Barber. He is survived by: his wife Patty; his sons, Robert Norman Barber (Jackie) of Sparta, MI and David Allen Barber (Margy) of Hixson, TN; and his grandchildren, RJ Barber, Daniel John Barber, Christina Hope Barber, Bethany DeLayne Barber, Christen Danae Harper (Brandon) and Grace DeAnne Barber.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home (20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Grosse Pointe Animal Adoption Society (http://www.gpaas.org.) or charity of your choice are welcomed.
