He is survived by: his children, Dawn Shovein (Todd) and Dan Lawrence (Susan); his grandchildren, Dylan Shovein, Tyler Shovein, Roy Lawrence, Dean Lawrence, Shelby Shovein and Aaron Lawrence; and his wife Rosemary DiVincenzo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
