He is survived by: his wife Vada; his children, Matthew (Angela), Brandon (Caitlin) and Shannon Dawda (Thomas); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Benjamin, Eliza, Charlie, Charlotte, Evelyn and Elise; and his siblings, Lynn Friedrichs (Pete), Cheryl Pollard (Tom), Ron (Becky), Doug and John Habermas. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Detroit or to St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church in Don's honor.
