He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald (Bonnie) and Lorraine; his siblings, Victoria and James; and his stepsister Joyce (Dennis).

He is survived by: his wife Debbie Fitzsimmons; his children, Shannon and Shane Fitzsimmons; his grandchild Kennedy; his brother Michael (Sharon); and his stepsiblings, Steve (Isabel) and Jerry (Andrea). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
