She was predeceased by : her husband Bill Zakosky; her parents, Peter Korbal and Pauline Korbal; and her siblings, Adolph, Archibald, Virginia, Eleanor, Henry, George and Norbert.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home (25800 Harper, St Clair Shores, MI 48081). The lying in state was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
