She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hood and Eleanor Hood (La Rue); and her husband Donald Winters. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Winters, JoElle Slaughter (Jeff) and Patrick Winters (Beth); her grandchildren, Tyler (Shelbi), Delaney, Aidan, Anna, Evan, Eleanor and Evelyn; and her great grandchild Ryatt.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home (25800 Harper, St Clair Shores, MI 48081). A rosary was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church (21100 Madison St, St Clair Shores, MI 48081). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
