He was predeceased by: his wife Jayne Kowalski; his parents, Frank Kowalski and Lucille Kowalski; and his sisters, Patricia Vollmert (Bill) and Kay Hanba (Bob).

He is survived by: his siblings, Michael Kowalski (Marianne), Karen Liske (Kevin), Bruce Polczynski, Lori Manos (Peter), Catherine Watson (James) and Joseph Polczynski; and his nieces and nephews, Alyssa Polczynski, Dylan Manos, Theresa Kesner (Mark), Paige Osterman (John), Cheryl Burke (Elliott), Curtis Hanba (Julie), Craig Hanba (Alex), Cindy Hanba, Kevin Vollmert (Lisa) and Ryan Vollmert (Jamie).

Memorial donations may be made to St. Veronica Catholic Church or Father Solanus Casey Center.

I met him in the early 90's at American Mold, we became friends and stayed in touch through the years. We went deer hunting and off road 4-wheeling together on my property in Capac. He was an awesome and a kind man that will be missed. Jeff Krysiak.”
