She is survived by: her husband Arthur Rooks; her mother-in-law Julia Rooks; her caregiver Angie; her grandchild Chripstopher; her sisters, Theresa, Gina and Vicki; her friends, Michael Shaieb and George; her daughters, Helen and Rina; her granddaughter Melissa; her sisters, Rose, Victoria and Janet; her nieces, Vittoria, Amelia, Kathy, Maria, Anita and Lisa; her nephew Mark; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Alyssa, Brianna, Maddy, Frank, Christopher, Nicholas, Joseph, Andrew, Tadej and Cole. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Verheyden, Inc. - Grosse Pointe (16300 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230). The lying in state was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Lucy Catholic Church (23401 Jefferson Ave, St Clair Shores, MI 48080). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
