He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wassa and Pauline Wassa (Dunay); and his siblings, James, Frank, Albert Wassa and Mary Jane McNutt.
He is survived by: his wife Millie Wassa; his children, Tom Wassa (Tina), Steven Wassa and Kelly Berghorst (Ralph); his grandchildren, Ryan, Nathanial Wassa, Dianne (Andrew), Mike Wassa, Ronnie Berghorst and Tami Fradette (Jay); and his great grandchildren, Bailey, Lydia, Naomi, Levi, Carson, Lynken, Teagan, Taylor and Danielle. He is also survived by 2 great-great grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Memorials may be made in his name to: St. Joseph Catholic Church, the St. Johns Honor Guard or to ZCBJ Lodge #225, Bannister.
