It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Martin Gerard (Saint Charles, Michigan), born in Bay City, Michigan, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Gerard and Gloria Gerard (Martin); and his siblings-in-law, John Strahl and Susan Walker Gerard. He is survived by: his fiancée Jeannie Hamilton; his stepchildren, Jenny Maier (Lisa), Michael Falkenberg (Hamilton) and Emily Hamilton; his grandchildren, Norman and Kenna Maier; his siblings, Roger Gerard (Debra), Susan Strahl, Carol Rivard (Steve), Ronald Gerard (Beverly), Ross Gerard (Mary), Janet Schultz (Gary), Jean Gerard (Phillip Fisher), Judith Gerard and Jacqueline Shaw; his father-in-law Norman Hamilton (Theresa); and his brothers-in-law, David Hamilton (Sharleen), Rick Hamilton (Patty), Norm Hamilton (Mary) and Jimmy Hamilton (Debra).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Family, as they will be donating to Michigan Fisheries.
