He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Russell and Alice Cottle (Lathrop); his spouse Burdeen M. Poole; his son David Paul Cottle; his grandson Phillip Paul Bongard; and his siblings, Frances, Emily Cottle, Stanley and Robert Cottle.
He is survived by: his children, Darlene R. Cottle of St. Charles, Daniel Cottle (Gwendolyn) of Shepherd and Doreen Bongard (Glenn) of Millington; his grandchildren, Amy, Jordan, Rachel and Joseph; his siblings, Martin Cottle (Joann) of Byron and Ruth Loomis (Dorland) of Winter Haven, FL; and his sister-in-law Ruth Cottle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In accordance with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services ordinance, face coverings are required and social distancing encouraged.
