It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Gary Mendyk of Saint Charles, Michigan, who passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Gary Mendyk; his grandparents, Della, Lavern Urbain (Bud), Joe and Velma Mendyk; his uncle Rob Urbain; and his cousin Dean Keeven.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Denton Mendyk; his daughters, Marijo Gengler (Jordan) and Madison Bernard (Dominick); his goddaughter Makenzie McPherson; his mother Judy Mariona (Ernesto); his siblings, Sherry Mendyk, Jill Mendyk, Patrick Mendyk (Amy) and Kristin Davis (Dave); his nephews, Jacob Mendyk and Matthew Mendyk; and his friends, Dave McSweyn, Kayla and Cassie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and close friends.
