It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lee Traverse of Saint Charles, Michigan, who passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Traverse and Katherine Traverse; his brother Howard "Bud"; and his sister-in-law Margaret Traverse. He is survived by: his wife Irene Hare; his children, Margaret Ostrander (John), Rosemary Mugrage (Jerry) and Christopher Traverse (Maurice); his grandchildren, Renee Williams, Jennilee Saxton (Tyler), Jillann Herrington (Nathan) and Julie Ostrander; his great grandchildren, Hayleigh, Aiden Williams, Harper, Saylor Saxton, Graham and Raygan Herrington; and his grandchildren, Branten, Roenn Tester and Erabelle Murphy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
