It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Ruediger of Saint Charles, Michigan, born in Ovid, Michigan, who passed away on March 28, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Major and Marian Major (Cox); her husband Marcus Ruediger; her daughter Carol; her son-in-law Mearl Hopkins, Jr.; and her sister Amy Wadsworth.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Cooper (Harold), Lorraine Goward (Ken) of St. Charles, Deborah Bunker of Petoskey and David Ruediger (Pamela) of Parson, WV.; and her brother-in-law Paul Ruediger (Loetta). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, 14 step-great grandchildren.
Following Covid-19 guidelines, masks must be worn, and social distancing practiced at the church.
Memorials may be made in Irene's memory to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church.
