Gerard James Poyer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerard James Poyer of Saint Charles, Michigan, who passed away on December 1, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Poyer and Rita Poyer (Lamere); his wife Catherine Poyer (Clauss); and his brother John Poyer. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer (George Gear) and Matthew (Tara Poyer); his grandchildren, Robert (Shannon), Chelsea (Troy), Dusten, Carter, Kaylee, Kelsey and Bohdan; his great grandchildren, Finley and Archer; and his siblings, Thomas (Sue Poyer) and Kathy Cox. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors (4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery-Chapel (381 St Andrews Rd, Saginaw, MI 48638).
