She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin C. Richmond and Lela M. Richmond (Huffman); her sons, Ronald Matthews and Kevin Matthews; and her siblings-in-law, Bruce Matthews, Phillip Matthews, Earl Bennett, Richard Newman, Sharon Bennett and Sandra Mikulski.
She is survived by: her brother Sawmill; her children, Linda Gardner (Barry) of Dowagiac, Terry Matthews (Sally) of Dowagiac, Mikel Matthews (Shelley) of San Antonio, TX and Greg Matthews (Sue) of Dowagiac; her grandchildren, Dawn East (Don), Chad Gardner (Tammy), Lisa Speaks (Gregg), Ron Matthews (Heidi), Mikel Matthews, Jr., Tami Erickson (Andy), Heather Matthews, Doug Matthews (Nikki) and Josh Rose; her sisters, Jeweldine Newman and Imogene Stapleton (James); and her siblings-in-law, Tom Mikulski, Kay Matthews and Delores Matthews. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
